What's New?
Introducing the Titan System
Titan is the latest release of the Argus control system.
It uses a new controller, new I/O modules, and other supporting
hardware and software. It also supports backward compatibility
with current Argus control system components. The Titan
system has been designed from the ground up to simplify sales,
application engineering, installation, support, and service. The
Titan system takes advantage of the latest computer technology
advancements to increase performance and manufacturability.
Titan controllers have greatly increased program capacity,
processor speed, and memory to facilitate future program
development. More on Titan...
Microsoft Vista and Argus
Microsoft has released its newest operating system, Windows Vista. Aside from some cosmetic changes
made to the software, Microsoft has incorporated numerous security changes. These changes, while making
the system much more secure, also change the way software interacts with the underlying operating system.
Most professional software reviewers like what they see in Windows Vista, but encourage a cautious approach
in adopting it. Over the last year, we have evaluated the evolving versions of Vista, and its interoperability
with Argus' software. We have identified some issues that currently exist, and are doing our utmost to
develop permanent solutions. However, at this point we have developed workarounds for the existing issues.
At this time, we encourage you to not upgrade to Windows Vista until we have developed a version of Argus
optimized to work with it. We hope to have this updated version of Argus ready in the near future. If,
however, you do update to Windows Vista, click on the link below to view the workarounds for currently
identified issues.

Windows Vista.
Argus
Marking
All Argus system components now carry the CE mark in
addition to our North American C/UL and UL
certifications. The CE mark indicates conformity with the much
more stringent European performance standards for electronic
equipment. These standards apply to electromagnetic emissions
coming from the equipment, as well as immunity to interference
from outside sources.
