System Pricing
Since no two customers are identical, we don't build cookie
cutter systems. You'll never have to compromise with 'one-size-fits-all'
control. We design a custom system that is tailored to your specific application. The
cost of system design and configuration will depend upon the scope and
complexity of your application and the completeness of your system
specifications. During the engineering and quoting
process, all items and their associated costs will be fully itemized and quoted
before you agree to purchase your system. We will also make every
effort to advise you of any other equipment or installation costs you are likely
to incur that are not supplied by Argus.
In short, we will try to match your requirements in the most
economical way possible.What Are You Buying?
When you purchase an Argus system, you get:
- the control system components (the system hardware)
- a license to use the Argus Operator software
- custom system configuration
- lifetime support (toll-free in Canada and the U.S.)
Our price will only change if:
- you change your requirements and
we have to change the system configuration (components and/or
settings) (Note that pricing may go up or down depending upon
changes to your itemized quotation, in accordance with your revised
requirements.)
- you require additional services, not specified in your
original quote, such as special training and consultation, or on-site
visits (Most Argus customers never need these additional services.)
What does a System Cost?

It varies directly with the size and
complexity of the application. Generally the more measured inputs and
controlled outputs, the higher the cost.

A base Argus system can manage up to 4
climates and 4 irrigation systems.

We have installed systems ranging from $8,000
to more than $500,000 (US$)

After receiving your specifications, we then
engineer a proposed system design for your review, complete with itemized
system component pricing.
Installation and Commissioning
Upon delivery, we provide all necessary custom drawings and
instructions for you or your installer to set up and connect the system
components, and our service technicians will be available on-line to help
commission your system and make sure it is operating properly.
