Argus for Windows Version 3 - Known Compatibility Issues
Note: the information on this page is in
reference to Argus for Windows Version 3 software, which works in conjunction
with the Argus Classic CL100 Controller System. It addresses interoperability
issues with Windows Vista, Microsoft's new operating system. These issues stem
from both a change in the way Microsoft handles computer security in this new
operating system, as well as Microsoft's delayed release of software components
which are needed for proper operation.
We are endeavoring to develop lasting solutions to address these
compatibility problems. In the meantime we have discovered the issues listed
below. You can click on the link to the right of a listed issue to see its
detail page, which describes the problem in detail, as well as a workaround for
that problem, if available.
